Easter 2027 is Sunday, March 28. That is early, and it lands at the end of a busy week: Williamson County Schools’ spring break ends March 19, both districts close on Good Friday, March 26, and Maury County Public Schools start spring break the next day, March 29. No Spring Hill organizer has posted a 2027 egg hunt yet, so the dates below are from 2026, labeled as such. We will update this page as the 2027 dates come out.

Egg hunts

The City of Spring Hill’s 2026 events calendar did not include an egg hunt; its spring event was a kite-flying day at Fischer Park in April (city calendar). The community hunts come from churches, farms and businesses:

  • Spring Hill Memorial Park and Peace Lutheran Church Annual Easter Egg Hunt. In 2026 it was at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 4, the day before Easter, at Spring Hill Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 5239 Main St. Children of all ages hunted eggs, with games, crafts, snacks and prizes, plus an adult egg hunt for a donation; proceeds went to The Well, a Spring Hill outreach (2026 listing).
  • Hidden Gem Farm Easter Egg Hunt. In 2026 the farm at 863 Old Military Road ran two-hour ticketed hunts from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, and Sunday, March 29, with farm animals, bounce houses and food (tickets page). It also held its first adults-only glow-in-the-dark egg hunt, 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2026 (2026 listing).
  • Sensory Bunny Bash, Franklin. A free, sensory-friendly Easter Bunny photo event for children with special needs and their families, held 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the Drury Inn, 1874 W. McEwen Drive, Franklin (2026 listing).

Easter brunch

  • Birdsong Social, in the Towhee Club clubhouse, 3901 Kedron Road, posted an Easter brunch menu in 2026: a buffet with a ham carving station, chicken piccata, lamb meatballs, pastries and biscuits, and a kids’ station. Its regular Sunday brunch runs 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (brunch page); check the restaurant for 2027 Easter hours and reservations.
  • Big Bad Breakfast, 2086 Wall St., is open 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on weekends (bigbadbreakfast.com). It has not posted Easter hours.

Easter services

Spring Hill churches post Holy Week and Easter service times on their own sites, usually a few weeks ahead. A few, with their sites:

What’s open and closed

  • Schools: closed Good Friday, March 26, in both districts. MCPS spring break follows, March 29 to April 2; see our spring break guide.
  • Trash pickup: no change. Easter and Good Friday are not among Waste Management’s six pickup holidays (trash page).
  • Library: check the library calendar for the 2027 Easter weekend closing.

Watch for the egg hunt announcements in the weeks before Easter; Hidden Gem’s hunts are ticketed, so buy ahead. If your child is in Maury County schools, Easter weekend runs straight into a week of spring break.
