Valentine’s Day 2027 is Sunday, Feb. 14. That makes it a brunch-or-dinner weekend, and a long one for many families: Williamson County Schools are on mid-winter break Feb. 12-15, per the WCS calendar, and Maury County Public Schools close Monday, Feb. 15, for Presidents Day (MCPS calendar). No Spring Hill restaurant has announced a Valentine’s menu yet; most do in January.

What happened in 2026, so you know what to watch for:

  • Valentine’s Day Social, Spring Hill Community Senior Center. Held Friday, Feb. 13, 2026, at 563 Maury Hill St., per the chamber’s 2026 listing. The center runs holiday celebrations for its members through the year.
  • Valentine’s Day Cardinals in Acrylic, Spring Hill Public Library. A guided painting class for ages 10 and up with local artist Debbie King, at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026 (library listing).

Confirmed for 2027:

  • Deer Run Valentine’s Marriage Retreat, Feb. 12-14, Thompson’s Station. A weekend for couples at Deer Run Camps & Retreat Center, 3845 Perkins Road, about five miles north, limited to 15 couples, per Deer Run.

Dinner and brunch

These Spring Hill restaurants take reservations or serve weekend brunch, from their own sites:

  • Birdsong Social, in the Towhee Club clubhouse, 3901 Kedron Road: modern American food, a wrap-around bar and a lawn with fire pits. Open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, with Sunday brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; reservations are not required but can be made online (hours, brunch).
  • Aubrey’s Spring Hill, 3091 Miles Johnson Parkway, 931-369-2592: grill dishes, pasta and a wine list (aubreysrestaurants.com).
  • Big Bad Breakfast, 2086 Wall St.: breakfast and brunch from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on weekends, from the chef John Currence (bigbadbreakfast.com).

Date ideas

  • A tour of Rippa Villa, 5700 Main St.: the 1855 house runs guided tours daily, the last starting at 4 p.m.; the extended tour goes into rooms the classic tour skips (Battle of Franklin Trust).
  • Axe throwing at Faxon’s Hatchet House, 3015 Belshire Village Drive: for ages 12 and up, with 11 beers on tap (faxonax.com).
