Spring Hill's Halloween 2026: the city Trunk or Treat Oct. 24 at Fischer Park, library and church events, a costume brunch and a Halloween Bash Oct. 31.

Last checked Oct. 19, 2026. This page is updated each year at the same address. Events come from the city calendar, the library calendar, the Spring Hill Chamber of Commerce calendar and each organizer’s own page, linked below.

Halloween is Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026. Spring Hill’s biggest Halloween night comes a week early: the city’s Trunk or Treat runs 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at Fischer Park, the same afternoon as the Friends of the Library’s trunk-or-treat and chili cook-off. On Halloween itself there is a library magic show in the morning, a costume brunch at midday and a costume party at night.

Door-to-door hours, candy safety and the daylight saving change are on our separate trick-or-treat hours page.

Friends of the Spring Hill Library Trunk or Treat and Chili Cook-off, Saturday, Oct. 24. A free trunk-or-treat from 3:30 to 5 p.m., then a chili dinner from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Hidden Gem Barn, 863 Old Military Road. The chili, drinks and desserts are sold, and the money goes to the Friends of the Library, according to the chamber listing.

City of Spring Hill Trunk or Treat, Saturday, Oct. 24, 5 to 8 p.m. Spring Hill Parks and Recreation’s event at Fischer Park at Port Royal, 4285 Port Royal Road. The park has restrooms and a playground, and like every city park it is smoke-free and alcohol-free, per the city’s parks page.

The Learning Experience Trunk or Treat, Sunday, Oct. 25, 2 to 5 p.m. Free, at 2832 Duplex Road, per the chamber listing.

Churches, schools and neighborhoods hold their own trunk-or-treats in the last two weeks of October. We add them when the organizer publishes a date, time and place; send us yours.

On Halloween, Saturday, Oct. 31

  • Magic show, 10 to 11 a.m.: a show for all ages at the Spring Hill Public Library, 144 Kedron Parkway. The library is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
  • Halloween Costume Brunch, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Birdsong Social, the restaurant in the Towhee Club clubhouse at 3901 Kedron Road, runs a Halloween brunch with a themed kids’ menu. The restaurant lists special Halloween hours of 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. that day.
  • Halloween Bash, from 7 p.m.: Fozzy’s Bar & Restaurant, 150 Stephen P. Yokich Parkway, holds its annual party with the band Benji & The Jets playing from 8 to 11 p.m. There is no cover; costumes are encouraged, and the costume contest starts around 10 p.m.

Haunted houses and fall festivals nearby

We have not found a haunted house open to the public inside Spring Hill this year. Pumpkin patches, corn mazes and Franklin’s PumpkinFest (Oct. 24-25, about 12 miles north) are on our fall festivals and pumpkin patches page, so they are not repeated here.

Getting there

  • Fischer Park is off Port Royal Road on the east side of the city. Parking fills early for the city event; give yourself extra time.
  • Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, so expect more children on neighborhood streets in daylight than on a school night. Daylight saving time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 1.
  • For road work that could slow your drive, see road construction and closures.
