The City of Spring Hill has not announced a New Year’s Eve event or fireworks show, and no Spring Hill restaurant or bar had posted New Year’s Eve plans as of Oct. 19.   • Columbia Mule Drop, about 11 miles south. Columbia counts down on the Historic Public Square. The 10th Mule Drop was at 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025, according to the Spring Hill Chamber’s 2025 listing. The 2026 time is not out yet.
  • The Factory at Franklin, about 12 miles north. Last year’s ticketed party in Liberty Hall, 230 Franklin Road, featured The Smoking Section band from 8 p.m. (2025 listing). No 2026 lineup yet.
  • FrankTown Festival of Lights, last night of the season. The drive-through light show at the Williamson County Ag Expo Center, 4215 Long Lane, Franklin, runs 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 31, its final night (festival site). It suits families who want an early evening.

These Spring Hill places publish regular late hours. None has announced a New Year’s Eve party yet, so check before you go.

  • Fozzy’s Bar & Restaurant, 150 Stephen P. Yokich Parkway: open 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily, per its contact page. It posts special events on its events calendar.
  • Mission Cigar, 2094 Wall St.: open until 10 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, per its site.
  • Tenn Pin Alley, 730 Mooresville Pike, Columbia: bowling, laser tag and an arcade, open until 10 p.m. Monday to Thursday and midnight on Friday and Saturday, per its site.

Fireworks at home

  • Sales: temporary fireworks stands need a city permit and may sell only from Dec. 23 through Jan. 1 (and June 25 through July 4), according to the city’s fireworks stand application.
  • Using them: the rules are in Title 7, Chapter 7 of the city’s municipal code. Read them before you light anything, and never set fireworks off in a city park; every city park is also alcohol-free.
  • Pets: fireworks frighten many dogs. Bring pets inside before dark.

Getting home

Plan a sober ride before the night starts. The Spring Hill Police Department patrols the city; Maury County and Williamson County sheriff’s deputies and Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers work the roads around it, including I-65 and Saturn Parkway.
